The Story So Far...
Graphic Designer and Digital Media Specialist
I got married in a backyard, it was a blast. I've never really known what to say about myself when put on the spot. Art fascinated me when I was growing up, my first memory is drawing inventions, the only one I remember is a flying vacuum, which doesn’t actually make any sense, but hey it was original. That’s my niche. it was about making something that hadn’t been made before.
Originality is important to me. When I discovered design it was as captivating as it was maddening. Making things that no one had seen before and solving problems in a new creative way using tangents of logic that only seem rational once they are laid out. The optimism that is inherent solving problems drew me into design.
Creativity with a plan.
I find myself drawn to difficult things, fueled by inspiration like John Kennedy when he talks about choosing to do things, “not because they are easy, but because they are hard.” This has led me to many situations where I am in over my head, but time and time again, I outperform expectations.
I’m able to work independently or as part of team. I have experience setting and keeping deadlines without supervision, but I also thrive in an environment where I can encourage team members to reach their full potential because the mark of true success is every member surpassing their expectations.
